RBGC project at EXPO REAL fair in Munich

MUNICH, 07-09.10.2013

The Rail Baltica Growth Corridor Project was presented at the Expo Real fair in Munich 7-9 October 2013. The City of Ludwigsfelde and IPG has demonstrated locational advantages of the Berlin-Brandenburg capital region in connection to the Rail Baltica multimodal corridor.

The joint Rail Baltica Growth Corridor stand represented the districts Potsdam-Mittelmark and Oberhavel, the Cities of Ludwigsfelde and Luckenwalde as well as IPG Infrastruktur- und Projektentwicklungsgesellschaft mbH on behalf of the Freight Villages Wustermark and Grossbeeren.

The business case of Freight Villages Wustermark and Grossbeeren, developed by IPG in close cooperation with the municipalities, showed especially the potential of the region in the combined transport sector. Particularly, the RBGC partner city Ludwigsfelde pointed out that besides business opportunities a logistics region can also provide a high living standard for employees and residents.

The Expo Real is the biggest B2B fair for real estates and investments in Europe. The fair attracted about 36 000 participants and exhibitors from 65 countries.
